What changed?
From 2026, qualifying energy-efficient ventilation may receive a subsidy when combined with insulation. Some requirements for biobased insulation, frames and glazing in monuments also changed. The official RVO page sets out the rules by measure.
Start a project file before work begins
Create a folder for quotes, selected materials, photographs and invoices. Next to each planned measure, record who will carry it out and which details are missing. Ask the contractor what information they can include on the invoice. This helps coordinate the different parts of your renovation.
Separate the building plan from eligibility
A building project and a subsidy application have different requirements. RVO distinguishes, for example, between insulating an existing home and increasing its floor area. Check eligibility, timing and the required evidence on the source page. This article does not promise that your project qualifies for a subsidy.
